Millennium Passport
replaces 32° certificate

Ill.·. John Youngblood, Secretary of the Valley of Cleveland, reports that new Passports have been mailed directly to every 32° mason in The Valley of Cleveland. It is to replace the certificate previously presented when traveling to other valleys.

The new item is similar in size to a government passport. It contains a separate page for each degree with a suitable place for the Valley Secretary to place his stamp that will show where the member received a particular degree and the date. Those who receive all 29 Scottish Rite degrees in full form will receive special recognition from Supreme Council. Only degrees witnessed after January 1, 2000 will be eligible for stamping the passport. If you were at the February 7, 2000 George Washington Degree, and you are listed on the member register, you may get your Passport stamped by Young-blood. Otherwise you will have to wait until the 20th degree is presented at a later date.

To help members achieve the goal of witnessing all degrees, Valleys are being encouraged to present all the degrees over a six year period.

If you haven’t received your new Passport, call the Valley office at (216) 432-2370. Attend the reunions...and get your new Passport stamped.

Millennium Coin still available

A limited amount of the special Millennium Reunion coin are still available from the Valley of Cleveland Secretary's office. The commemorative coin, struck especially for the reunion, was given to all members of the class and to members who attended the reunion.

If you wish a coin, the cost is $5.00 each and available at the Secretary’s office during regular business hours.
