Petitions for fall 2000 class
of candidates now available
Fall Reunion Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 18th
Do you know of a Master Mason in waiting who wants to become a Scottish Rite Mason? Don’t disappoint him. Tell him there’s more light in masonry than he has already received, and give him a petition. for the Valley of Cleveland Fall 2000 class. A Fall reunion banquet will follow the degree work on Saturday, November 18. Petitions are now available by calling the Scottish Rite office at (216) 432-2370, or by stopping or writing the Valley of Cleveland Scottish Rite office at 3615 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. The three-day reunion is set for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 16-17-18. The degrees will be presented in the Cleveland Masonic Center auditorium and in the DeMolay room of the Center. New degrees that will be presented include the 8th degree, and the 30th degree. The eighth degree, a Lodge of Perfection degree, is titled the Intendant of the Building. |
It teaches that each new honor is meant to be a step toward perfection in the moral code; each a development of a particular duty; and that benevolence and charity are necessary virtues of leadership. The 30th Consistory degree is titled Grand Elect Knight of Kadosh. This degree sets forth the tests and ceremonies that symbolize the experiences we must undergo in the building of excellence in character. GET YOUR PASSPORT STAMPED You will want to be sure to attend the reunion. By attending, you will be able to mark off two more degrees that you have viewed on your way to observing all 29 degrees and receiving special recognition from Supreme Council. The Passport Stamping program began with the Millennium Spring Reunion.
