Valley Activities Committee Update

The Activity Committee of The Valley of Cleveland has been extremely busy this fall planning the social events for 2001. The programs with special emphasis are those listed below.

The first event in 2001 is the Valley of Cleveland Dinner/Dance, hosted by Lake Erie Consistory. It will be held at Pine Ridge Country Club in Wickliffe on Saturday evening, January 27, 2001. Pine Ridge Country Club is located about a half mile west of Route 91 (Just off I. 90 in Willoughby Hills. The cost for the evening is $25 per person.

This year the dinner will be a family-style sit down dinner. Dinner and music for dancing will be provided by LCA from Uptown Entertainment.

The evening begins with refreshments (cash bar) at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., followed by dancing until 11:00 p.m. See page 23 of this issue of the Scottish Rite News for a reservation form on which you can order your tickets.

Several other programs are scheduled for the Valley of Cleveland in 2001. Look them over and mark your calendar to attend one, two, or all of the events. We look forward in seeing you.

MAY:
• Big Band Show

JUNE/JULY:
• Afternoon with the Tribe (Dates to be announced)
• Trip to Pennsylvania Dutch Country

AUGUST:
•Valley of Cleveland Picnic

SEPTEMBER:
•Valley of Cleveland Clam Bake

OCTOBER:
• Fall Foliage trip to Lake Chautauqua

NOVEMBER:
• 2001 Scottish Rite Reunion
• Family Life Program Church Service - Old Stone Church

DECEMBER:
• Children’s Holiday Party Watch for the dates of these programs as they are formalized in The Scottish Rite News.
