SCOTTISH RITE SOCIETIES Medina County Scottish Rite Society Officers President........................Robert
Brooks
October meeting held in Litchfield
MasonicTemple; By Russell Palmateer The Medina County Scottish Rite Society met at Litchfield Lodge on October 25th.By 7:00 p.m., the entry room was full of brethren and their ladies and we greeted many friends we had not seen for awhile. When our Secretary Roger Edgington took the final count, there were 38 Sublime Princes, their wives and guests in attendance. Fourteen officers of the Valley of Cleveland were at the meeting to show their support for our society. We really appreciate the effort of these brethren for coming out. The meal was very enjoyable and we had more than enough to eat. A person could not get this much food and variety anywhere else. I realize the weather was great and so many of you have other things to do...but our society used to have twice as many brethren at our dinners. Far as I know, everyone is friendly, and has a great time. Dave Kurtz is planning our January meeting in the Brunswick area to see if that will get a better turnout. This meeting will be on Wednesday, January 23, 2001. Mark it down and when Roger Edgington sends you the bulletin, read it and plan to join us. We’d like to see you! Robert Odon was in charge of our October meeting. The entertainment centered around his work. James Guttierez came from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office to talk about its function. He works for Mr. Mason’s office and has tried many high-profile cases. Bonnie Youngblood, Chair Person of the 32° Masonic Learning Center Board of Directors, talked about our Learning Center in the Valley of Cleveland. If you read the Scottish Rite News, you know that they need volunteers. If you have any free time, it’s a great way to help out. Finally, Ill.·. John Youngblood discussed Life Membership for Valley of Cleveland members. Get It Done Before Dues Double!! Again...GET IT DONE. See you around. Get active. It will make you feel great!!!
