Ill.·. Glenn L. Beaver, 33°, elected
Chairman Valley Board of Trustees

Succeeds leadership of Valley of Cleveland
from Ill.·. Steven J. Krekus, 33°

Illustrious Glenn L. Beaver, 33°, was elected to the post of Chairman of the Board at the February 4, 2002 meeting of the Valley of Cleveland Board of Trustees. Beaver succeeds Ill.·. Steven J. Krekus, 33°, who has resigned due to an increase in his duties as Senior Warden of The Grand Lodge of Ohio. Krekus had been Chairman since February of 1999.

Illustrious Brother Beaver is a Past Master of Theodore Breck Lodge no. 379 in Brecksville. His other Masonic affiliations include Past Thrice Potent Master of Eliadah Lodge of Perfection in the Valley of Cleveland from 1996 to 1998; Past Master Councilor of Thomas Jones Chapter, Order of DeMolay; past District Deputy for the 2nd DeMolay District; present Financial Director for Ohio DeMolay; past District Governor of DeMolay District 2; Active member of DeMolay International Supreme Council; Charter member of DeMolay Mark Master Lodge no. 2 in Cleveland; and Active DeMolay Legion of Honor recipient.

He was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Valley in 1999.

He was coroneted a 33rd Degree Mason in 1996.He recently sold his 21 year old business in Chardon, Culligan Water Conditioning.

Glenn and his wife Marlene are members of the Mentor United Methodist Church and reside in Mentor. They are the parents of three grown children. 


Ill.·. Morton S. Negin, 33° named to Board of Trustees

Ill.·. Morton S. Negin, 33°, a semi-retired attorney, has been elected to the Valley of Cleveland Board of Trustees. He succeeds Ill.·. Glenn L. Beaver, 33°, who was elected Chairman. Illustrious Brother Negin will be the Trustee for Eliadah Lodge of Perfection with a term expiration date of 2004.

Negin is a member of Forest City Lodge no. 388 where he was Worshipful Master in 1967, Chaplain from 1967 to 1974, and present secretary of the lodge.

He is a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the 22nd Masonic District, and a Past President of the Cuyahoga County M.W.D. Association.

He is a graduate of Kent State U. and John Marshall Law School.

His civic associations include: member of the Cuyahoga and Ohio State Bar Associations; member of the Grievance Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association plus other Bar Association committees.

He and his wife Donna reside in Mentor.
