By Robert S. Bodenstein, 33° As spring is upon us, your Learning center is looking forward to another graduation. This summer, your Learning center plans to graduate several students who have been with us for many months.
True happiness lasts a lifetime. Happiness is making a change in a child’s life that lasts for his or her entire lifetime. Happiness is watching a child read without difficulty and enjoying it. Happiness is watching a child’s self-esteem go through the roof. Happiness is watching a child with a positive psychological outlook. You too can get the feeling of happiness by being involved with your Learning Center. What a feeling it is to know that you did something for a child that will last his or her entire life. You can get this feeling of true happiness by volunteering at your Learning Center for several hour a week. If you can spare a few hours to make a difference in a child’s life, please call your Learning Center at (216) 881-2234 to get the feeling of true happiness. Have a wonderful summer and be sure to remind your lady of the Spring Style Show and Luncheon to be held May 14th at the Cleveland Masonic Center. It will be presented by the Valley of Cleveland Ladies’ Association for the benefit of your Learning Center. Bring a neighbor or a friend or both and enjoy a great day that has been planned. |
Stop for a moment and think of many past summers. How many times during those lazy, crazy days of summer have you sat comfortably and let your mind wander over past times, letting your mind wander over different words and thoughts that come to you. One such word that should come to mind is happiness or joy. What is happiness? Is it a trip to the local car dealer contemplating which model would fit best your needs and how you could afford it. I think not. This is not true happiness. This is only a temporary fix.
