MEDINA SCOTTISH RITE
SOCIETY By Russell
Palmateer
Through wind and snow, 35 brave souls gathered at Seville Masonic Temple for our March meeting. So with Mother Nature showing us that it might be early spring, she was still in charge. The meeting night was different because the next week was Holy Week.. Sorry that more of you couldn’t attend the meeting as our entertainment was great. Our meal was prepared by the O.E.S. Chapter in Seville. We all enjoyed the ham, scalloped potatoes, beans, rolls and coffee. Following dinner we adjourned to the Lodge Room where Ill... John Youngblood introduced the eight valley officers in attendance. John spoke about the all-degree day and the interesting problems that go along with this first time ever event. Our first Vice President, John Moore, introduced of our speaker, P.D.D.G.M.. of the 20th Masonic District, Robert Straight who presented a slide program about his recent trip with his wife to Alaska. It was an exciting journey resulting in an informative program.. Listen up-- Our annual meeting on May 22nd will be at Medina Masonic Lodge with President Dave Kurtz presiding. Again this year, the ladies will be invited as our guests. The entertainment will be a Barber Shop group so this will be fun. Come and elect our new officers and see them installed. See you on April 27th at the Grand Master’s One Day Class, and at the Annual meeting May 22 in Medina. CUYAHOGA COUNTY SCOTTISH RITE
