Reception honors Bradford A. Goebel and Arthur G. Quade as 33° Masons
Allan W. Jones and Ronald R. Ebert elected to 33rd degree
A group of 135 Free-masons were honored recently at the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Scottish Rite Freemasonry for the Northern Jurisdiction of the United States. The Thirty-third Degree was conferred on the designees because of their service to the fraternity or community.
Receiving the prestigious degree was Arthur G. Quade and Bradford A. Goebel from the Valley of
Cleveland.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an announcement was made that two Masons of the Valley of Cleveland, Alan W. Jones, Most Wise Master of Ariel Chapter Rose Croix of Richfield and Ronald R. Ebert,
Commander in Chief of Lake Erie Consistory, of Brunswick, were among 45 Scottish Rite Masons from Ohio who were elected to receive the Thirty-third Degree at next year’s meeting in St. Louis, Missouri.

David Mackey, Editor of the Valley of Cleveland Scottish Rite News is presented a Supreme Council plaque commemorating the best publication in Division IV (Valleys with 4,000 to 5000 members) for the 4th consecutive year, from Ill... Robert J. Hibjan, 33°, Deputy’s Representative for our valley.
The award was presented at the
33rd° Recognition Program Oct. 7th.

Valley Clam Bake favorite of
brethren
225 attend popular Valley of Cleveland fall event
The Valley of Cleveland held their 3rd annual Clam Bake September 21th at The Al Koran Shrine Pavilion.
Guests enjoyed Clams and chicken with chowder, broth and all the other trimmings while others decided on 16-oz Porterhouse steak. Hosts for the event were the officers of Ariel Chapter, Rose Croix with David Leifer as Chairman. A great time was had by all.
The Clam Bake is a regular feature of the social calendar of the Valley of Cleveland. Watch for the date in 2003. |
