Web Master, Douglas E. Kelley, takes a break from his Computer and E-mail communication. Doug is the Valley of Cleveland Web Master 

The Scottish Rite News Personality Profile for this issue is Douglas E. Kelley, Webmaster of the Valley of Cleveland Web Site, which includes this publication in electronic form.

Doug was born in 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Euclid Schools and served in the U. S. Air Force from 1970 to 1974.

After attending Cleveland State University, he began working in the Computer Department of Lake County, Ohio in 1986 where in 1996 he created the Lake County, Ohio Web Site for electronic information to the world about Lake County. His work may be viewed by going to www.lakecountyohio.org 

Doug was Raised in Temple Lodge no. 28 in Painesville in 1990. He served as Worshipful Master in 1998 and then stepped forward again in 2002 to serve his lodge as Master. He is an endowed member of the lodge and is presently a member of the Temple Board. He is presently serving as Treasurer of Temple Lodge.

He is also active with Painesville DeMolay serving as Dad Advisor from 1996 to the present.

Kelley is a Past High Priest of Painesville Chapter no. 46, and a member of Painesville Council and Eagle Commandery who meet in the Painesville Masonic Temple.
He became a member of the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Cleveland in 1993 and holds Life Member status. He is also a Life Member of the Cleveland Masonic Library.
Outside of his Masonic activities Doug is a member of the Masonic Motorcycle Club International Chapter #1 where he was President from 1995 through 1998 and was President of Masonic Motorcycle Club International from 1995 through 1997.
In 1997 he created the Masonic Motorcycle Club Web Site (www.masonicmotorcycleclub.org) and the Valley of Cleveland Web Site for Valley Brethren.

Edwin A. Strauss, Jr., Thrice Potent Master of Eliadah Lodge of Perfection , presents Douglas E. Kelley a certificate of merit for his development of the Valley of Cleveland Web Site. Kelley is a Past Master of Temple Lodge no. 28 in Painesville.

Web Server Statistics for our site (www.aasrcleveland.org) include: page requests from 200 in 1997 to 8476 in May 2003. Most of the people coming to the site come to the Site Home Page (6000), but 25% (2000) come to the Webmaster’s Page by way of web rings on that page; most viewed pages on our web site are the Scottish Rite News and a Tour of the Building pages.

The site has gained numerous awards throughout the Internet system, much of which can be attributed to Kelley.
