The Ladies’ Association Spring function to support our 32° Masonic Learning Center for Children. was held May 13th in The Cleveland Masonic Center.
This year, a Card Party, Salad Luncheon was held. We had a wonderful selection of salads and deserts that were donated.
We enjoyed card games, board games, or just sitting around talking and were able to enjoy a great lunch and have a lot of fun.
A big thank you goes to Marlene Beaver and Celia Lawson, co-chairpersons, for a job well planned and executed. They both worked every hard and did an exceptional job. It was because of their effort and support of this event that we were able to contribute $780 to our 32nd Degree Masonic Learning Center. The check for the proceeds was presented to Bonnie Youngblood, Chairperson of the Learning Center Board of Governors.
A special thank you to the Executive Board members who donated the salads for the luncheon. Also I would like to thank Jan Goerss who donated the chocolate flowers for favors, and especially those members who donated an extra $10.
Our next meeting will be September 9, 2003. It will be our election of officers for the next two years. Join us and participate in electing the officers of the Ladies’ Association and enjoy a lunch with other ladies of the brethren of the Valley of Cleveland. We look forward to renewing old and new acquaintances in September.
We especially invite the ladies of the newest members of the Spring 2003 Class of the Valley of Cleveland, to join our association and enjoy the fellowship with us at our luncheon in September. Watch the September issue of the Scottish Rite news for details.
Have a great summer. I’ll see you at the September meeting.
