DO YOU HAVE
EXTRA TIME?
We need volunteers to man
Masonic Center guard stations

By Ill.·. Wilbur B. Smith, 33°
Valley Treasurer

During the past several years, the expenses of your Valley have increased while the income has declined as a result of the nation’s economic problems and decline in membership.

Your trustees are working hard to hold cost increases to a minimum. We are looking to the membership of the Valley to join us is this cost reduction effort. We are looking for ways to curb the rising costs. One of the largest expense we have is our security costs.

To control or reduce this expense is for our members to operate the guard station during the day and possibly early evening. We are looking for members who have some extra time to perform this important duty at a minimum hourly rate of pay.
We are looking for individuals who have at least 4 hours available per day 3 to 4 days a week.

Please review your calendars and if you have some free time and are willing to operate the guard’s station, please let our Secretary, John Youngblood, know.
We thank you for your consideration.

Grand Lodge
luncheon to honor
new Grand Master

We in northeastern Ohio are looking forward to the annual Grand Lodge Communication in Dayton in October. With each Grand Lodge comes the opportunity to elect and install a new Grand Master. A luncheon is being planned to recognize this special occasion.

The luncheon will be held immediately following the installation, ceremony, in the Dayton Masonic Complex. It is open to lodge officers, northeastern Ohio masons and their ladies. A donation for a ticket to the luncheon is $10 per person.

Tickets and information are available from Brad Goebel by calling him at (440) 943-0611, Ronald Runion at (330) 648-2291 or Bill Stratton.

If you’re going to be at Grand Lodge, join your brethren for lunch honoring the new Grand Master before returning home.
