Annual meeting and election of By Janice Herbst It’s hard to believe that summer has ended and my two year term as president is over. To that end, we look forward to a beautiful fall and the beginning of a new corps of officers for 2003-2005. Time moves on. The annual meeting and election of these officers will be on September 9, 2003. The luncheon starts at 12 noon in The Cleveland Masonic Center Gold Room. We invite all the ladies of brethren in the valley of Cleveland to be with us and enjoy the friendship, and entertainment. We most certainly invite the ladies of the Spring 2003 Class of Candidates to join us. The cost for membership is $5.00 per year. The cost for a luncheon is $6.00 per person. Entertainment scheduled for the September meeting will be Ron Sluga who will play original musical favorites including contemporary, Christian, and Country music. Luncheon reservations are a must. The cost is $6.00 per person. You can make a reservation by using the form on this page, or by calling the Valley of Cleveland office at (216) 432-2370. When making a reservation by telephone, please make every effort to attend. If some unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending, please call the office before Friday, September 5, 2003 to cancel your reservation, otherwise we will have to pay for your luncheon from our treasury. * * * If you need transportation to the September meeting, please call Carol Garnons at * * * Dues for the 2003-04 year are now due and payable to our Association Treasurer. Please see Elaine Smith, at the September meeting. * * * We are still accepting clean used clothing for needy brethren in northeastern Ohio. If you have recently cleaned out your closet, etc., and have some items you wish to dispose of, please think of the Scottish Rite Ladies’ Association Clothing Bank. Help will be made available to bring your clothing into the building if needed. See Joan in the Scottish Rite office when you arrive. She will find someone to help you bring in your good used clothing. * * * Thank You ladies for your support over the past two years. You’ve made me proud of our friendship and our Ladies’ Association. God Bless You All. --Jan Herbst
