ASHTABULA COUNTY SCOTTISH RITE SOCIETY

November dinner meeting to be held at Hartsgrove Masonic Temple
November 15th

By Robert Kotab-1st Vice President

The regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Ashtabula County Scottish Rite Society was held at O’Meara’s Restaurant in Orwell on Saturday morning, October 4th. Twelve members were present to discuss several important items concerning our society.

It was agreed that there was a disappointing number of members and their ladies at the last dinner meeting held September 20th in Geneva. Discussion centered around a topic that we should be careful to avoid “busy” dates in the Valley of Cleveland so more members may attend.

Our next regularly scheduled dinner meeting will be on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at the Hartsgrove Masonic Temple. Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment following dinner. Call me at (440) 563-9605 for tickets or any of our officers listed at left.

Please mark your calendar and PLEASE --PLAN TO ATTEND THIS DINNER! Bring your lady along and have a great night. We are planning some really good entertainment. We know you will be pleased with the program and dinner.

Our winter social event will be at Relief Lodge in Pierpont February 21, 2004. This event marks our annual fish fry and I’m sure you won’t want to miss out on this dinner/program. Watch for more details in the January issue of the Scottish Rite News.

Christmas Party set for December 11th

By Boris Stephanoff--President

The Cuyahoga County Scottish Rite Society will hold the annual Holiday Party on Thursday, December 11th at DeMitri’s Restaurant located at Broadview and Snow Roads. Dinner time is 7:00 p.m. with a program beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The party features a $5.00 gift exchange. If you wish to participate in the gift exchange, be sure to bring an item for exchanging.

Remember, our ladies are always invited to be with us at all of our meetings. We will be ordering from the menu so you can have a choice of entrees to meet your taste and budget.

We had 27 brethren and guests at our September meeting. We had the pleasure of having Tim Daley and his wife Mary Louise recreate times from the Civil War. Their program was both fun and educational and everyone had good thoughts of their performance. Thanks Tim and Mary Louise.
