 SAVING YOUNG LIVES, ONE CHILD AT A TIME!

32° Masonic Learning Center at capacity of 25 active students;
several activities
set for 2004

By Ill.·. Robert Bodenstein, 33°
Member of The Learning Center Board of Governors

As you read this article, the work of the new year begins for your 32° Learning Center. When we look back on the conclusion of the year 2003, your board is very satisfied.
The census of your Learning Center is at our capacity of 25 active students. We have four new trainees that are being brought up to speed and we are in good shape for the ensuing year. However, we are always in need of volunteers. If you or anyone you know would like to help out, please call the Learning Center office.

The questionnaire that was presented to the student’s parents puts us in very good light as to the progress and parent satisfaction of the quality of education their children are receiving. The staff and board members are very pleased with the results of this questionnaire which only confirms we give the best education to our children to help them deal with and overcome dyslexia... and all this education just happens to be free. One only has to read the letters the children write thanking your Learning Center for the tremendous job your staff is doing.

A very extensive list of promotions and functions is on the calendar for the coming year. Looking back on last summer, one of the high spots of our promotions was the visitation of Victor Frederick, 32°, who rode his motorcycle through 49 states to call attention to our Learning Centers. After the completion of his trip, he related to us that his stop in Cleveland was one of the high spots. Let’s all get out and make his stop in Cleveland in 2004 another memorable occasion. The date will be coming later. Watch for it in the Scottish Rite News.

Another promotion on our calendar is a Walk-a-thon to be held this summer. Watch for that date and be sure to participate.

Also, the door has been opened for us to supply a runner in the Boston Marathon next spring. Many other functions, including those of our Ladies’ Association, will be presented during the year. Many thanks for your donations to the Learning Center. Watch for the time and dates.

Lets get out and support our 32° Learning Center. This is a very rewarding experience and we have the best Learning Center in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
In closing, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
